Finding the most suitable location in turn-based combat can change the game in your favorable direction. To increase your range and control of the battlefield you should place units further up. If you want to make an effective follow-up strike it is possible to flank the enemy by both sides and attack from behind. Elemental chain reactions are also crucial to fighting. For example, use fire to melt frozen terrain then use lightning to electrocute the area. Push the enemy into the electric water, and you will see sparks appear!
